Bees wax candles have one of the longest burn times and a smoke-free burn that emits a soft honey aroma. The characteristic warm glow of a pure beeswax candle has a natural light that closely resembles that of the sun.

As ornamental candles are not symmetric top to bottom they may need a little more loving attention. If the melt-pool moves too close to the edge of the candle, trim the wick for a smaller flame.

Did you know? All Honey Candles® 100% pure beeswax candles will develop bloom over time. This white-like film is an indicator of purity and is cherished by candle connoisseurs. Fully developed bloom will sparkle beautifully in the light and look like crystals or snowflakes. For a polished look, simply buff with a soft cloth. You can also run a warm blow dryer over the candle.

Beeswax does not go rancid, has a very long shelf life and won’t melt or distort. Recent studies have shown paraffin candles, especially ones scented with synthetic fragrance oils, can increase indoor air pollution. Synthetic fragrance oils are commonly used to scent most candles and contain phthalates to stabilize and enhance the scent. Phthalates are a common hazardous chemical known to cause harmful abnormalities, birth defects and reproductive problems.
