Suggested Use: Boil ½-2 tablespoons of Organic Traditions loose Holy basil leaves in 8-12 oz. of water, depending on how strong you prefer your tea. Add more tea for a more robust flavor. Enjoy the tea as is or add natural sweetener, lemon or ginger. Grate fresh ginger into the tea for more intensity. Naturally sweeten the tea with ¼ - ½ teaspoon of Organic Traditions Stevia Powder, 1 teaspoon of Organic Traditions Coconut Palm Sugar or 1 teaspoon of Organic Traditions Yacon Syrup. Add some Organic Traditions Goji Berries, Longan Berries, Black or White Mulberries or Raisins to add a hint of natural sweetness. Add 1 teaspoon of Organic Traditions Vanilla powder, Organic Traditions Slippery Elm powder, Organic Traditions Gotu Kola powder or Organic Traditions Ashwagandha powder for added benefits. Cool the tea to create a refreshing iced tea with a squeeze of lemon and ice or use as a base liquid in smoothies.
