D-Mannose  is a simple sugar that occurs naturally in cranberries. Human body utilizes it to help cleanse the urinary tract and maintain a healthy bladder lining. In the bladder, D-Mannose adheres to bacteria, preventing them from sticking to the lining of the bladder. It’s metabolized only in small amounts, with excess amounts rapidly excreted in urine, so it won’t interfere with healthy blood sugar regulation. 

CRANBERY extract  provides bioactive cranberry nutrients known to prevent and treat recurrent urinary tract infections. It has the power to acidify urine and prevent bacteria for growing. It also helps prevent pathogenic bacteria from sticking to urinary tract walls, which can cause infection. Cranberry’s antibacterial activity also inhibits ulcer- and cavity-causing bacteria to reduce the frequency of peptic ulcers and cavities. Cranberry reduces the chance of the bacteria becoming resistant, as they do to some antibiotics.

UVA URSI (also called BEARBERRY) is a herb that has mild diuretic properties. It is used in Herbal Medicine (as a mild diuretic) to help relieve symptoms associated with urinary tract infections (such as burning sensation and/or frequent urination).  Uva Ursi is an antimicrobial herb that is great for both acute and chronic UTIs.  It is used as urinary antiseptic for bladder and kidney infections,  and womb problems (very good as a postpartum remedy to prevent infections). It is especially active against E. coli. Uva Ursi also strengthens the heart muscle and helps disorders of the spleen, liver, pancreas, and small intestines. 

Ingredients:

• Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon, fruit)..10mg (30:1 QCE 300mg)
• Uva ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, root).... 40mg (10:1 QCE 400mg)

Non-medicinal ingredients: hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose

Recommended Dosage: One (1) capsule twice daily.
