Its bitter taste is its distinctive signature, a unique warrant of its outstanding effectiveness. This is the perfect remedy for upper respiratory infections—it doesn’t matter whether they’re viral or bacterial. If used at the first signs of cold or flu, more often than not EchinaSeal® will nip them in the bud.

Echinacea angustifolia and echinacea purpurea: Probably the most popular and most widely known of herbal remedies, echinacea is a drought-tolerant perennial plant that can grow up to four feet in height. With immunological properties, it is native to the United States and a member of the daisy family. Its name comes from the Greek that means "hedgehog"--a reference to its spiky central disk. The medicinal compounds in the purpurea species known as alkamides are more bioavailable when in the presence of those from the angustifolia species. This is the rationale behind our EchinAce formula.

Goldenseal: A perennial plant and member of the buttercup family, with a bright yellow rootstock that's reflective of its name, goldenseal is found natively throughout eastern North America.

Propolis: also called bee glue, propolis is a resinous substance produced by bees to seal their hives. It has been valued from ancient times for its antiseptic and wound-healing qualities.

Wild indigo: A perennial herb with yellow flowers, wild indigo can be found throughout eastern North America. Its root has been used medicinally for centuries beginning with the aboriginal peoples.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 1 ml): 

• Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea, herb top and root) 0.22 ml (1:1, QCE 220 mg)
• Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis, root) 0.19 ml (1:5, QCE 38 mg)
• Wild Indigo (Baptisia tinctoria, root) 0.175 ml (1:4, QCE 44 mg)
• Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha, sap resin) 0.16 ml (1:5, QCE 32 mg)
• Propolis (Apis mellifera, beehive) 0.13 ml (39 mg)
• Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia, root and rhizome) 0.11 ml (1:4, QCE 28 mg)
• Cayenne (Capsicum annuum, fruit) 0.015 ml (1:6, QCE 3 mg)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Distilled water, Grain alcohol

Dosage: Adults: Take 2 ml (60 drops) 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach. May be gargled before swallowing.

Duration of Use: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1 month.

Cautions and Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner before use: if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection; if you have stomach ulcers/inflammation, high blood pressure, an autoimmune disorder or are taking immunosuppressants; if you are allergic to bee products, poplar tree products, or balsam of Peru. Consumption of Goldenseal with alcohol, other medications and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.

Contraindications: Do not use: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.

Known Adverse Reactions: Some individuals may experience hypersensitivity such as allergy, in which case discontinue use immediately.
